As far as we know there has never been an offer of this magnitude from any retailer in the United States; even in Austria mature wine from older vintages is extremely difficult to find. These are not the most expensive wines out there, but they are among the rarest!

FX.Pichler is one of the icons of Austrian winemaking and viticulture. With some of the most important vineyard sites (Kellerberg, Loibnerberg) in all of the Wachau, FX Pichler is one of a handful of top producers in all of Austria. His wines are powerful, complex, and elegant; most importantly they are spectacularly ageworthy. They are voluminous wines that are big and subtle at the same time - the hallmark of the great wines of the world - the prototypical iron fist in the velvet glove.
