Frank Cornelissen Returns to New York!

Share

Frank is coming back to New York! We missed him last year, and we’re very happy that we can extend our series of dinners with him, which have always been memorable parties. One exciting thing about these dinners is that Frank is keen to show his wines with different cuisines, so this year we are going to Salaam Bombay, the fine Indian restaurant that’s been in Tribeca since 1994. Against the odds, they have kept the quality of the food very high, and it’s deftly prepared and subtle. It’s always a treat to taste Frank’s new wines; in the spring in Sicily they were looking like they would be his best batch to date, so it’s really going to be interesting to try them again – and to try them with some curry! Naan with Nerello!

The wines listed below will be served (and so will the Magma), all from magnums or double-magnums. There is also a new bottling to try, the "Munjabel PA."

Dinner is on Tuesday, November 29th, at 7pm at Salaam Bombay, 319 Greenwich Street (betw Duane and Reade); $90 per person including food, wine, service, and tax.
