Florez 2023 Cave Dew Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir is near and dear to James' heart, after studying in Burgundy and developing an early interest in the varietal. This one comes from Gimelli Vineyard, farmed organically on limestone and granite soils. The wine was made with about 80% seeing whole cluster fermentation in sealed tank, with the other 20% undergoing 50/50 destemmed and whole cluster in open top fermenter. It's vibrant and juicy on the palate, with great lift and energy with some earthy complexity and hints of dark fruit that give it substance. An outstanding value Pinot that's perfect for everyday drinking, great with food but nice on its own too!
