The current fashion in Anjou is to make dry wines on the great terroirs formerly used to produce some of the finest sweet wines in the world. Here we have have a classic liquoreux from the outstanding Domaine Les Grandes Vignes, certified organic and Biodynamic. The residual sugar is a little under 200g/l but with the natural acidity of the wine, there is great balance. Succulent and sweet, classic and delicious, from the steep slopes of "Le Malabé," one of the greatest vineyards of the Layon with soils of schist, sandstone, and quartz.
