Graine Sauvage (Sybil Baldasarre) 2020 Vin de France Lutz (Marsanne)

The 2020 Vin de France "Lutz" by Sybil Baldassarre at La Graine Sauvage is all Marsanne grown on Schiste soils in her high-altitude vineyard in Faugeres, aged one year in tank and 18 months in bottle before release. This is a lovely natural wine, made with zero additives, showing a slightly cloudy pale gold color with floral, herbal, citrus, peach skin and green apple aromas with white pepper and spice. The palate is lively and bright with white fruits, lemony acidity and stone flavors that linger in the refreshing, mineral finish. Serve this fascinating wine with a spicy ceviche and be happy. No added SO2.
